New Development

New development is often the most devastating effect on trees. Soil grade levels, soil compaction, cut roots, direct damage to the live tissues, are some examples of injuries that always happen in new development. In such cases, the trees may need to be removed. Care can be taken with protection barriers and cooperation with the builders. Loosing a tree can be avoided, if precautions are taken before hand.

Planting a tree involves more than just digging a hole, putting the tree in and covering it up with dirt. Considerations include environment, location, plant selection, the condition of the plant, soil, nutrient needs and water. Young trees do need more attention than more established older trees. Pruning and training young trees is very important for future structural strength.
